‘Check it out’, Valerie Maxfield laid down her vocals, the synths rise and the band got primed, a strike of the guitar unleashing a fusion of a rock band, heavy R+B, trance and at times reggae. The first song ‘Stuck like’ was so good that it hurt, a Hardcore Indie Rock band, blessed with multiple layers all of which were perfect and hard hitting this combined with the widest ranging vocal talent you’ve ever heard from one person.
The sound was one notch under too much, just right, the crowd couldn’t take their eyes of this band from the start, the venue began to shake, the lucky crowd was listening to the most original sound in British music in the past few years, club crawlers and gig goers for once loved and moved to the same band and joined to create an orgy of love for this new sound.
